"Game of Thrones" leads the Emmy nomination 2018, but Netflix is the winner!

The "Oscar of the TV series" Emmy on July 12 announced the nominees. Not to be outdone, the Game of Thrones series easily won the top spot with 22 nominations, followed closely by such names as Westworld and Saturday Night Live, respectively. Third place went to Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale series with 20 nominations. Familiar TV series such as Killing Eve, Atlanta, and The Crown have earned quite an important nomination. This achievement is quite predictable if Netflix's ambitions in the television market are taken into consideration.
